Banpresto Figure Colosseum (BFC) is a sculpting hall of fame line of figures that are made by various artists in Japan. It is a sculpting figure competition that started in 2010, resulting in a battle royal of the strongest sculptors, and the winners get their figure produced. In 2017 it had matured in Japan and moved worldwide, changing the name to Banpresto World Figure Colosseum (BWFC) with sculptors from all over the world. Figures of Dragonball and One Piece were made in the BFC, but here I’ll only show the Dragonball BFC figures. The figures could only be won in Japan as a prize (think crane games or Ichiban Kuji).

They created the Movie / Fusion Collection. In 2002 Irwin Toy went bankrupt, and Jakks Pacific took over the line, creating many more series of these.

AB Groupe (now Mediawan Thematics) is a French broadcasting group, and the distributor of the Dragon Ball merchandise for European and Canadian markets. They made the English dub for the Dragon Ball Z movies in the Netherlands (based of their French dub), with awkward changes like Piccolo being “Big Green” and the Saiyans “Space Warriors”. As terrible as that dub was, their toys were one of the first you could get in Europe. Their “Super Guerriers”/“Super Guerriers Articule” line is well known, but they also made other toys alongside it, like vehicles such as this motorbike.

They started off by re-releasing Dragonball Z Action Figures of Bandai and AB Groupe, bringing these toys to America, before making their own Dragonball Z Action Figures. Alongside these Action Figures more elaborated toys were created, like these Striking Z Fighters. “Z Fighters” are what the Dragonball Z characters are called. The figures “strike” the board with their toy action, hence the name.
