Re-Ment makes various blind boxes with cute little items and / or scenes of a multitude of IPs. This series is called “European’s Traveling Mood” featuring Rilakkuma. It’s part of the Terrarium Collection. The set exists out of 6 parts.
The 6 parts come in a blind box. The front of the box depicts the first one; Paris. It’ll be a surprise which one you get. It’s a slightly bigger box than other sets of 8.
On the sides are the 6 parts printed. 3 on one side, and 3 on the other.
The 6 parts are:
I got #6.
Inside the box you’ll find the set in parts in joined plastic bags. It comes with the terrarium bottle, floor, 2 trees, Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma and the northern lights.
#6 Finland depicts Rilakkuma with a yellow hat sitting in the snow, and Korilakkuma with a pink hooded cape dancing. There are 2 snowy trees in the background, and the northern lights are in the sky. The terrarium is nice and fully encased shaped like a corked bottle, and has a blue gradient. The cork has a cute Rilakkuma face. The northern lights hangs from two transparant hooks on the cork, giving it the levitation. It’s easy to put together, as the bottom of the bottle can be removed. It’s easiest to build on that and then put the glass bottle over it.
The quality of the figures is excellent with great colouring.
I love the little sets Re-Ment comes out with. The Kirby and Pokémon themed ones are my favourites, but I’ve seen several others I’d enjoy too. The little scenes in cute cases are something I adore.
I got this particular one from the July 2019 SoKawaii box, themed “Dreamy Vacations”. I bought the box mostly for the Kirby Charantern, but a Re-ment is always welcome!
I don’t really know much about Rilakkuma. I’d recognise it, and I watched the Netflix stop motion show of it, but that’s about it. It’s just cute looking.
I was really hoping I would get #5 Netherlands, as I am Dutch myself. I also really like the windmill and tulip scene in it. #3 London would be ok too, as I live in England now, although I find the bear too big for the little bus. #2 Alps is cute too, but that is just because I like swings.
But I ended up with #6 Finland. I would love to see the northern lights myself one day, and Finland sounds like a great country to visit, but I have never been. And I don’t like the hanging northern lights in this set, as it looks like a floating blanket in my opinion. The blue gradient on the bottle is nice, but it kinda blurs the glass.
It is still cute though, but I wouldn’t be against trading this one.
The quality is amazing as always though and the tiny items are very detailed!
If you like small, cute little scenes Re-Ment is something you may want to look into. If you like Rilakkuma this series is highly recommended!
