Pokémon Scale World is a highly detailed line of Pokémon figures by Bandai that is in 1:20 scale. This accurately shows the relative size of Pokémon to one another.
Various sets have come out spanning various generations and regions. Here I’ll only list the Kanto region figures, by Pokédex number and then the Trainers.
These figures come in box sets. The boxes show what is inside, so aren’t blind boxes. Each figure is wrapped in plastic. All figures have the branding “Pokémon (TM)” on them.

I love figures in scale, so a Pokémon figure line in scale is amazing! They also did a lot of trainers, whom rarely get merchandise so this is cool too. The figures are a nice size too, and all scale with another, unlike the Zukan line, which only scaled compared to its evolutions.
However, they (still) haven’t made all 151 Pokémon, sticking to the popular and partner Pokémon. And many are limited editions you’d have to pre-order in Japan, making it extremely hard and/or costly to get them all.
So I quickly gave up on this series, as much as I love it. I still bought a few I found by chance for cheap, including a cute battle ready Pikachu of course. I was especially pleased to have found Misty, as it looks like her sprite in Pokémon Yellow (my personal favourite).
As cool these are to display, I still favour the Tomy figures. Had these been easier and cheaper to get, I probably would have tried to get them all though.
If you like Pokémon or in scale merchandise, these are incredibly nice and detailed and a decent size. Be aware though they can be hard to get and costly.
If you like cheaper or articulated figures, you’ll give these a miss.
