Todd & Copper – Disneyland Paris Plush

Copper & Todd - DLP Plush

Series: The Fox and the Hound

Company: Disneyland Paris / Euro Disney

Size: 24 cm (butt to tip of nose), 33 cm including the tail

Main distribution: Disneyland Paris

This is Todd & Copper, the mischievous naïeve fox and good dog of the Disney Movie The Fox and the Hound. This is them as the young fox cub and puppy. These are sold exclusively at Disneyland Paris.

This couple is a little set. I’m not sure if there are others in this style.

Todd

Todd - DLP plush front

This Todd plush is of a high quality, as you expect from the plush from the parks. It’s a decent size at 24 cm. It’s very soft and floppy due to its under stuffed nature and beans / pellets inside him. Its face is fully embroidered with a soft plush nose. He’s made of a soft plush material with a medium pile. He has a large tuft of long soft hair on his head and on his chest, and the same long hair is used on his tail.

Todd - DLP plush side

Due to its floppyness Todd is slightly poseable. I prefer him in a sitting position, which makes it great for displaying. Stacking them with other laying plush is also nice. The proportions of his head and body are spot on, although its ears come across as a bit small and his tail could be ticker.

Todd - DLP plush back

Todd has the same colours as he does in the movie. A dark orange red coat with brown feet and a white snout, underbelly and tip of tail. His ears have little black tips.

Todd - DLP plush tush tag

His tush tag is located at his butt and is a fairly standard Disneyland Paris one, with the usual copyrights and how to clean information.

Copper

Copper - DLP plush front

Copper is like Todd also of a high quality. It’s the same size as Todd at 24 cm. It’s very soft and floppy due to its under stuffed nature and beans / pellets inside him. Its face is fully embroidered with a soft plush nose. He’s made of a soft plush material with a medium pile.

Copper - DLP plush side

Due to its floppyness Copper is also slightly poseable. As with Todd, I prefer him in a sitting position, which makes it great for displaying. Stacking them with other laying plush is also nice.  As you can see, when standing he tends to sack. The proportions of his head and body are spot on, although his face lacks the wrinkles he has in the movie.

Copper - DLP plush back

Copper has the same colours as he does in the movie, although in a lighter tone. He has a light brown coat with dark brown spot on his back and darker brown ears. He has a creamy muzzle, underbelly, feet and tip of tail. He is missing the smaller spot on his hind legs.

Copper - DLP plush tush tag

His tush tag is located at his butt and is a fairly standard Disneyland Paris one, with the usual copyrights and how to clean information.

The Disney park plush are amazing looking. They always look spot on and of high quality. Having never gone myself (so far), finding these is always a joy.

Todd is one of my favourite Disney characters. And Copper is a Disney Dog! Then again, I like dogs and foxes in general so The Fox and the Hound is a hit for me. The story of friendship was also endearing.

They are quite a popular character and I never managed to find them for a nice price. Being sold exclusively in the Disneyland Paris park doesn’t help either. And there isn’t that much merchandise for them to begin with.

By complete chance I found them in a charity shop with my boyfriend in Stockton-on-Tees while visiting his family. And I got him for 10% of what he sells for online! Naturally, I was very pleased with myself.

They are very cuddly as well, and I think I prefer them over the newer Disney Store ones (which are bigger and harder).

I’m sure many Disney / Todd & Copper collectors fall in love with this plush. However, it might cost you a pretty penny to get one.

Got any more details / information for me to add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own the same plush? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
