Bandai has made several series of bath bombs, under the Bikkura Tamago or Surprise Egg name. These are with little Pikmin inside. They come in a plastic blind bag.

The bath bomb with figure comes in a blind bag, so you can’t tell which one you get prior. When opening the blind bag you’ll find the bath bomb tightly wrapped in clear plastic. It’s in the shape of an orange fruit, with a little leaf sticking out, which is your Pikmin.

Although you can dissolve them in a bowl of hot water to get the toy out, I don’t like wastage so I ran myself some baths over the weeks and threw a bomb in each time.

It fizzes mostly, and does not create any bubbles like normal bubble bath stuff would. It colours the water light yellow and it has a strong, fruity smell. Slowly the figure is revealed. It doesn’t take that long for the entire bath bomb to dissolve, about two minutes. The bath is quite moisturising and makes my skin soft.

The figures feel rubbery like most bath bomb figures do. They all come with a little brown stand, which can be removed.

The set exists out of 5 figures to collect; Blue Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, Red Pikmin, Purple Pikmin and White Pikmin.

The packaging shows images of the Pikmin from the game. All of them come with a leaf design on their head, which is shown on the back.

I got 3/5.

I’ve grown found of these Japanese bath bombs with figures inside. They are such good quality! And the baths are quite nice too.

When I saw the Pikmin bathbombs, to celebrate the release of Pikmin 4, I got all nostalgic. We played this so much on the GameCube, my little brother was obsessed. And if you get Pikmin figures, they got to be tiny like Pikmin.

So of course I bought a few. I was hoping for the 3 from Pikmin 1; Red, Blue and Yellow. I got 2 out of 3, so not bad!
I’m a bit disappointed the stands aren’t transparent. The brown is quite heavy and distracting. But I guess it represents the soil? Their feet are so tiny they do need the stand to stand upright though.
I also find these figures more rubbery than the Pokémon ones from the same brand. Maybe because these are made in Laos? Or maybe because these figures are more thin and spindly?
They are also bigger than I thought they would be somehow.
Still, they are pretty cool figures of Pikmin, and they don’t have much figurines as it is.

If anyone wants to trade my purple for a blue one, hit me up.

If you like Pikmin, I recommend getting these. They are nice looking and there aren’t many figurines of them.
If you like bath bombs for the bath itself, these are nice. They have a strong mixed fruit smell.

Got any more details / information you think I should add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own these figures? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
