These two clear pouches are a promotional item for the Nintendo Switch game New Pokémon Snap.
This is a set of two pouches (one large and one small). The pouches are great for displaying pictures and can also be used to store various little things that you carry around with you on a daily basis.
It can only be obtained as a My Nintendo Reward using 500 Nintendo Platinum Points.
The packaging is minimal; a simple plastic bag with a basic black and white sheet of paper, stating the New Pokémon Snap logo and that it’s for promotional use only, as well as the usual warnings, materials and company information.
The large pouch is 17.5 cm by 13cm. The front is clear and a has a mint green print of Pokémon on it. There’s a slim border of grass along the bottom, with Dodrio, Pikachu, Eevee, Sobble, Scorbunny and Grookey silhouettes on it. In the top are also 3 ViVillon silhouettes flying leaving a trail of sparkles behind them.
The back is transparent blue and has the Lentil Institute logo on it, the scientific organisation within the game. The small pouch is 12 cm by 9.5 cm. The front is clear and a has a mint green repeating pattern print of Pokémon on it. There’s silhouettes of Pikachu, Scorbunny, Sobble, ViVillon, Grookey, Eevee and Dodrio.
The back is transparent green with a mountain triangle effect along the top, and has the Lentil Institute logo on it, the scientific organisation within the game. I loved Pokémon Snap on the N64 but have yet to get New Pokémon Snap. That said when I realised my points were expiring on the My Nintendo Reward Program it wasn’t that hard a decision to get these. They seemed practical and Pokémon themed so why not.
The pouches are kind of like those resealable food bags, but with a nice print. They also seem sturdier. But they are quite flat and you can’t store anything too wide in it.
Personally I use them for stamps (as we always get those in loose ripped off pages from the post office). It’s quite handy to keep it all in one place rather than loose in a drawer. They’re also handy in your bag to temporarily store receipts in. My handbag always ends up swamped with loose paper… They are great for little practical uses like that, and with a cute print too.
If you like Pokémon and useful, practical items, these are nice. They may be hard to get though as it requires points and Nintendo Rewards often sell out and have short runs.
