The plush have vinyl heads, giving them great sculpted faces, and soft bodies.

Ralph

Ralph has a big body and small head, making this vinyl head and plush body combo great. The face and hair is nicely sculpted and very accurate to his film counterpart. He looks confident. He wears his trademark outfit or dark green undershirt, orange shirt and maroon dungarees. The clothes appear real (the green undershirt continues underneath his orange shirt, and he has real sleeves) and aren’t sewn unto him, and they also have real buttons.

His back pockets are sewn on. His feet don’t have any hard material in them, and combined with his size, the plush does not stand upright on its own.

He seems proportionately alright with a big chest and large hands. His tush tag is on his left side.

Vanellope von Schweetz

Vanellope has a big head and small body, making this vinyl head and plush body combo not so great. Her head is quite heavy and her body has no strength, making her incredibly top heavy. Her face and hair are nicely sculpted and very accurate to her film counterpart, although she has a bit of an odd expression / stare. She wears her trademark outfit of a green hoodie, mint rock leggings and cupcake wrapping skirt. Her hoodie isn’t sewn unto her.

Because of her tiny body and heavy head, the plush does not stand upright on its own. One of her arms also seems to be sewn on wrong.

She seems proportionately a bit off, with her body being slightly smaller than it should be. Her tush tag is on her back on her left side.

I loved Wreck-it Ralph when it came out. A Disney film with video game characters, how could I not like it. There was very little merchandise for it at the time, so when I spotted these plush in a crane game on the kermis in my hown town I had to win them.

I got Ralph out fairly quickly, but Vanellope was a pain. It wasn’t till I finally got her that I realised how heavy she was! I love crane games so finding something cool in them was always a nice reason to play.

I like their vinyl heads. It reminds me of the vintage Mattel and Applause plush. However, I’m not fond of “human” plush, as their skin always looks weird to me in plush form. Their heads made up for this of course, but still they weren’t my favourites. They also don’t stand up on their own, another pet peeve of mine in plush. Especially Vaneloppe with her big heavy head.

Now that I’m downsizing the collection, I’m putting these two up for sale. They just don’t fit my collection and I’m not super fond of them for the above reasons, so the decision was relatively easy. They’re still cool plush of them though, and there’s nothing really wrong with them, just my personal opinion.

If you like Wreck-it Ralph, or that vintage look of vinyl head plush, you’ll like these. If you’re like me and rather have figures of “human” characters, you might give these a miss.

Got any more details / information for me to add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own the same plush? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
