Pucca Danglers – Tomy

-I no longer own this merchandise and this post has therefor been archived-

Company: Tomy

Size: 3 cm

Main distribution: Europe

This is a set of danglers of the series Pucca. Distributed by Tomy Yujin, a subsidiary of Tomy Europe, before turning into Gacha International and then re-acquired by Tomy UK.

The series exists out of 5 danglers.

3 of Pucca and 2 of Garu.

I got 3 of them.

 Pucca

Pucca stands almost shyly with her hands behind her back. She has a cute innocent face expression. On the back of her head is the branding, which reads in raised font: © VOOZ YUJIN MADE IN CHINA.

Pucca running

Pucca is in her iconic running pose. She has a cute happy face expression. On the back of her head is the branding, which reads in raised font: © VOOZ YUJIN MADE IN CHINA.

Garu shy

Garu is standing stiff. He has a red, embarrassed face expression. On the back of his head is the branding, which reads in raised font: © VOOZ YUJIN MADE IN CHINA.

I remember finding Pucca cute on tv. They were little shorts with Pucca chasing Garu. Later it became a TV series, with voice actors and more characters. I found that less cute.

I got the danglers out of local Gashapon machines. They were cute figures so why not.
But I got nothing with Pucca really and while I’m downsizing it’s time for them to find a new home. These have been sold now.

I also found some of the plastic sweating or becoming sticky, downgrading due to age. Which I never had happen to Tomy Gashapon… I wonder if Yujin cut corners / costs?

Got any more details / information? Did I get something wrong? Do you own the same figures? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I am so sorry to bother you, but do you still have any of your 3 figures? I would like to buy one from you if you still have them.

That being said, I’ve been scouring the internet for these things and came across your blog. I’m so glad there’s an informative blog about these kinds of collectibles.

    1. Hi Jaylyn,

No, sorry, I’ve sold them already.

Glad you’re liking my blog though. I felt the same, so started my own pet project by cataloguing my collectibles. It makes me happy people enjoy it and find it useful.
