I really started to get more into diorama’s and display pieces at this point. I really liked the 3D depictions of Akira Toriyama’s art, so when I saw these I had to buy them. I bought these online, somewhere between 2004 and 2008.
I was hoping to get them all, but they were quite hard to find back then as I didn’t know what they were called as a teen. I simply had seen them for sale and bought them as I found them. And now they go for silly money on eBay.
They are quite cool figures though, and pretty accurate to the artwork, which is why I like them so much. I do hope to get some of the others one day.
If you like display pieces these are quite good. They have nice detail and a lovely paint job.
If you rather pose your own figures these aren’t for you.
Got any more details / information you think I should add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own any of these figures? Which one is your fav? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
