Lady & Tramp – Disneyland Paris plush

Series: Lady and the Tramp

Size: 28~40 cm high

Main distribution: Disneyland Paris

Here is a set of Lady and the Tramp plush sold exclusively at Disneyland Paris.

The plush are quite large and of some vintage, although I struggle to find an exact year. Their scaling to one another appears correct.

Lady

Lady is the smaller of the two just like in the movie. She is in a sitting position and is about 28cm high. She is made of a soft material with a medium pile. Her belly, tail and ears have longer hairs, and there are tufts of hair along the back of her paws. She has a hard button but felted nose and her eyes are embroidered. The inside of her ears and mouth are made of a cheaper material.

Her blue collar appears to be made out of a double layer of felt, as well as the golden hanger. The hanger is sewn onto her chest and is attached to the collar with a piece of ribbon. Her eyebrows are also made of this felt like material.

Her proportions are quite accurate to her movie counterpart. Her colours are much darker however. Although the markings all appear correct, she has a different coloured tail as a plush, the same as her belly instead of the back colour.

Her tush tag is located left of her tail. It has the standard Disneyland Paris logo on it. The back has the usual care instructions and where it was made info on it.

Tramp

Tramp is the taller of the two just like in the movie. He is also in a sitting position and is about 40cm high. He is made of the same soft material with a medium pile. His belly and muzzle have a slightly longer hair, and there is a longer tuft under the bottom of his tail. His eyes are embroidered. The inside of his ears is made of a cheaper material.

His brown collar appears to be made out of a double layer of felt as well, same for the golden hanger. The hanger is sewn onto his chest too and is attached to the collar with a piece of ribbon just like Lady’s.

His proportions are also great and his colour seems a bit more accurate.

His tush tag is also located left of his bum. It’s the same as Lady’s and has the standard Disneyland Paris logo on it. The back has the usual care instructions and where it was made info on it.

Neither of them have their hang tag anymore, if there was one.

I love the Disney dogs, so Lady and the Tramp are high on the list for me. I never watched the movie that much though as a child. Maybe it was a bit too romantic for me?

I like that they are a set, and represent the end of the movie, where they both have a collar and home. I never went to Disneyland Paris, but my mom found these somewhere and bought them for me which was cool. I’ve had them for years in my bedroom.

But as much as I love the dogs, these are quite big! I’m struggling to find a nice spot for them now. And I have several sets of the pair, so while downsizing I’m letting this particular one go. I have another pair that I find more movie accurate and less common which I prefer to keep.

I’m trying to only keep my favourites now, so you’ll find lots of the Lady and the Tramp plush here are being sold. Hopefully this couple will find a nice new forever home soon too.

There is nothing I can really fault on these plush, just personal preference. I still wanted to catalogue them here for fellow collectors. The photo’s are, as always, of the actual plush in hand and not stock photos.

Got any more details / information for me to add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own the same plush set? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
