Bandai has made several series of Pokémon bath bombs. This is the Pokémon Let’s Go! series, where each set is focused on a Pokémon type.
The bath bomb with figure comes in a plastic clamp case. You can’t tell which Pokémon you get prior as they are in the bath bomb. The bath bomb is tightly wrapped in plastic making it look like a Pokéball.

The bath bomb itself is a simple white ball with a line on it, missing the button of the Pokéball. All the types are white, their respective colour hidden inside which will be revealed once in the bath.

Although you can dissolve them in a bowl of hot water to get the toy out, I don’t like wastage so I ran myself several baths over the weeks and threw a bomb in each time.
It fizzes mostly, and does not create any bubbles like normal bubble bath stuff would. It colours the water slightly and it has a light smell. Slowly the colour and figure is revealed. It doesn’t take that long for the entire bath bomb to dissolve, about two minutes. The bath itself is ok, I didn’t find it particularly moisturising or smelly.

The figures feel quite nice and of high quality. They got a nice shine to them, and don’t feel rubbery at all like some other bath bomb figures do. They are quite small too.

I’ve really gotten into bath bombs from Japan, with their little figurines. I like baths, gashapon and tiny things, so this is perfect. And these figures are some of the smallest Pokémon figures.
The bath bombs I find a bit lackluster, with only a little bit of colour on the inside. They give no bubbles. They’re not moisturising either. And they barely smell.
But the figures are better than I expected. They feel nice and are shiny. They still smell faintly, but only if you go up close to them and smell them. You don’t smell them just from having them standing in the room. And the smell is not sickly strong at all. They are great quality for a bath bomb toy, and don’t have that rubbery feel some others have.
I’m always on the look out for more. They can be hard to get here.
I’m hoping for Gen 1, and so far I’ve not had much luck with that, only Zapdos fulfilling that criteria. But considering my other options I’m not too upset with the outcome. That said if anyone would like to trade mine for the Gen 1 equivalent, let me know!
If you like cute or small Pokémon figures, I recommend getting these. They are nice quality. If you like bath bombs for the bath itself, these aren’t that great.
Got any more details / information you think I should add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own any of these figures? Which one is your fav? Do you bath in them or dissolve in a bowl? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
