I got some of the F prizes. I will list the other prizes here as well though.
A) Master Sword
The Master Sword is a replica of the decayed version in the game, and also lights up.
B) Visual Art Board
The Visual Art Board is a nice piece of promotional artwork on thick board.
C) Blanket
The blanket is a small light bluegreen blanket with rounded corners and The Legend of Zelda iconography on it.
D) Mug Collection
The Mug Collection exists out of 4 mugs with The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears artwork on them.
E) Stationary Collection
The Stationary Collection exists out of various notepads themed after the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
F) Plate Collection
The Plate Collection exists out of 5 mini plates shaped like a Heart Container, Cooking Pot, Red Rupee, Green Rupee and Blue Rupee.
I got 3/5; the rupees.
All plates come in a small black box, with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom swirls on the background and the logo at the top. It shows the plate inside prominently on the front. The sides shows the others in the set.
The rupee plates are 12cm long and 6.5cm wide and made of porcelain. They are all identical in shape, with only the colour differencing. They look exactly as in game. The inner section is indented while the side sections are slightly skewed up. They stack nicely and flat as well.
The branding is on the bottom. It reads in white: © Nintendo BSP. CHINA 62432.
G) Metal Charms
The Metal Charms exists out of 5 metal keychains of different designs of The Legend of Zelda iconography.
H) Rubber Charms
The Rubber Charms exists out of 6 rubber straps with ballchains of various Koroks.
Last One) Clock
The Last prize is a The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom clock.
I have gotten a soft spot for cool, unique, porcelain plates, and use them as trinket dishes or when water colouring. So when I saw these rupee plates, I wanted them.
It’s hard to get cool, porcelain, geek items from Japan, as they are so fragile, and often expensive due to shipping, even if the item itself isn’t all that expensive. The household items never seem to be that wanted with collectors, often opting more for figures or plush. But when I have the chance to get these items cheap and safely, I get them. I love practical merchandise, and showing things I love in a casual way around the house.
These rupee plates are basic, but that’s what makes them so good in my opinion. They look generic enough that people might just think they look like generic gems or simply straight squarish plates, but fans will instantly recognise them.
The rupees are also such a staple of the Legend of Zelda. The Heart Container here is specific to the Tears of the Kingdom style, and the cooking pot is unique to that game, but the rupees are an icon of the entire series, and that’s why I opted for those. I’m very glad I managed to get all 3 colours.
If you like the Legend of Zelda, geeky household items, or practical merchandise, you’ll like these prizes.
If you prefer more conventional merchandise like figures, you might give these a miss.
Got any more details / information you think I should add? Or did I get something wrong? Do you own any of these prizes? Which one is your fav? Do you agree or disagree with my findings? Let me know in the comments below!
